The tireless volunteers preventing suicide in Australia

Suicide Prevention services around Australia are relying almost entirely on the service of tireless volunteers. Lifeline spokesperson Pip Brown compared the role of volunteers to those working in emergency services, and said they were responsible for administering ’emotional first aid’.
